Legacy Home Care Winnipeg was founded by a father and son who believe home care should feel like family.
Our story
Our story began with a father who built a new life in Canada. He worked tirelessly in factory jobs to raise his son as a single parent.
In his 50s, he found his true calling as a Health Care Aide, and he has now spent 8 years caring for seniors in Winnipeg. Clients and families noticed his patience, his gentle humour and the way he treated every person like his own parent. His care became more than a profession. It became a legacy.
His son, Michael, grew up watching that kindness. Together they started Legacy Home Care to honour it and to bring the same standard of care to families across Winnipeg, with a growing team of caregivers who share it.
